La (prevedibile) vittoria di Game of Thrones in nove categorie (che vanno ad aggiungersi agli emmy tecnici) ha permesso alla HBO di riappropriarsi del titolo di network con più statuette ottenute, titolo che l’anno scorso le era stato portato via da Netflix.

Ma, seppure numericamente la parte del leone è toccata a Game of Thrones, la vera vincitrice della serata è stata Phoebi Waller-Bridge con la sua Fleabag.

Degn di nota: Billy Porter (Pose) è il primo attore nero apertamente gay a vincere nella categoria “migliore attore per un drama”.
